Doctor of Chiropractic · Performance Chiropractor · Long Beach, CA

Sports chiropractic became a passion of mine through my experience as a collegiate hockey player. I sustained a significant injury early in the season my junior year that nearly ended my career and came close to costing me my right leg — not joking.. I saw my chiropractor on a weekly basis rehabbing myself back to health and found my way back to playing out the last 2 months of our season. The low I felt from hearing the news of a season ending injury, to the high I was riding finishing off my season, thanks to the help of my chiropractor, pushed me to take my Exercise Science degree I was earning into the chiropractic world post graduation. I attended Southern California University of Health Sciences where I earned my Doctorate of Chiropractic with a sports medicine emphasis.

From having surgery on Halloween night to skating with my brother over Christmas break, to finally getting back with my team in January.

That's what's possible when someone actually addresses the root cause instead of managing the symptom.

I now have over 5 years of clinical practice working with athletes of all levels and ages. From youth to professional, from hockey, football, soccer, volleyball, baseball, etc. to weekend warriors. I’ve worked with members of the LA Kings, USC athletics, and various youth programs. What I've consistently found with athletes who come to see me is that the passive care they've been receiving elsewhere doesn't quite cut it. It puts a band-aid on but doesn’t fix it. At Athlete Lab - Performance Chiropractic, we’re finding the root cause to address the real issue. Each session will be 1-on-1, including deep soft tissue work, diversified adjustments, and active rehab - using a PRI lens to fix biomechanical patterns that can keep athletes stuck in the same injury loop.

When I’m not in the clinic, you'll find me doing exactly what my patients do. I play adult league hockey a couple nights a week, I’m out in the sand playing beach flag football, soccer and kickball on the weekends, I’m taking my two dogs Cruz and Dude out for walks along the beach. Once a competitive collegiate athlete at Northern Arizona University, now living the weekend warrior lifestyle, I understand what it means to want to compete and feel good doing it. That's not a tagline. That's just my Tuesday night and Saturday morning.
